Our member Puro.earth has introduced a new Environmental Attributes Registry. The registry brings together verified field-level data and information on the origin, ownership, transfer history, retirement status, and eligibility of environmental claims.
The first application focuses on the carbon intensity (CI) of agricultural products. CI data is linked to the respective field or farm of origin and the relevant product, helping make lower-CI performance visible and commercially useful. Perdue Farms and Arva Intelligence are among the first adopters.
